WHAT IS ACCESS

Access lets you create iOS profiles (Admin, Guest, Kids, etc.) and instantly switch which apps are accessible on your iPhone. Locked apps are shielded using Apple's Screen Time framework — they show a block screen instead of opening.

GETTING STARTED

1. Open Access for the first time and complete the 4-step onboarding
2. Grant Screen Time permission when prompted (required for app locking)
3. Tap "+ New Profile" to create your first profile (e.g. Guest)
4. Tap the profile, then "Choose Apps" to pick which apps are allowed
5. From the dashboard, tap "Switch" on any profile to switch to it
6. To switch back to Admin, tap "Switch" — Face ID is required

COMMON QUESTIONS

Why can't I block Phone, Wallet, or Find My?

iOS reserves these system apps so they're always available — no third-party app, including Access, can block them. This is an Apple platform limitation.

Why can't I block call history?

Call logs live inside the Phone app and aren't accessible to third-party apps via any iOS API.

How do I reset Screen Time permission?

iPhone Settings → Screen Time → scroll down → tap "Access" → revoke authorization. Reopen Access and re-grant during onboarding.
